The original. Designed by Clinton C. Filson to protect timber cruisers during long days in the woods, the Filson Mackinaw Cruiser quickly became famous based on its reliability and exceptional merits: warmth, comfort, and durability. Made of our heaviest virgin Mackinaw Wool, the Cruiser is a proven barrier against wind, rain, snow, and cold. Four front utility pockets and a full width back pocket create a double layer over most of the body; an inside open pocket hold gloves and extra; hand-warmer pockets sit behind the lower utility pockets. Average length in back, 31".

Coats and Vests Sizing Info
Filson coats and jackets are generously sized. Your suit size would normally be the correct size. If you intend to layer heavily underneath your Filson coat, we recommend that you order one size larger than your suit size.

Extra-long Filson coats & sweaters have 1 1/2" longer sleeves and 1 1/2" longer body length. Extra-long Filson vests have 1 1/2" longer body length.
